More and more people want to actively contribute to the climate change and consciously choose environmentally friendly and resource-saving products. Saint-Gobain Weber supports this development and combines CO2-reduced products in a tested sustainable system for tiling in 2023.
It initially consists of four products for typical applications in residential and wet areas: a liquid sealant, two tile adhesives and a grout. The system has a lower CO2 footprint compared to conventional products. In addition, all possible products are offered in containers that contain recyclate as well as being recyclable.
In the DGNB-listed tile adhesive weber.xerm 842, which is part of the system, the cement content has been reduced by 98 %. This makes this adhesive probably the most sustainable on the market today.
Weber offers all building professionals the opportunity to lay tiles in a climate-friendly way.
